Bonny Hills

PET FRIENDLY, GREAT VIEWS, RELAXED VIBE

Reflections Caravan Park

Quaint and very well maintained caravan park that is pet friendly, dog beach (off leash) within a stones throw, close drive to Camden Heads

We originally heard about travelling to Bonny Hills through a friend, and we explored here across the Australia Day weekend in 2020. What made this weekend amazing was the company and the relaxed atmosphere that is ultimately low key.

Bonny Hill’s is approximately 18km south of Port Macquarie on the Tasman Sea Coast.

The park offers a range of accommodation options, including, tent sites, caravan sites, cabins, and the most amazing glamping tents. The park overlooks Rainbow Beach and is close to Wauchope-Bonny Hills Surfclub if you’re after a sneaky coffee/cake. Conveniently there is a general store across the road that also sells alcohol. Take an afternoon stroll around the boardwalk that runs around the perimeter of the park, perfect to relax, feel that ocean breeze on your skin and breathe in the fresh air whilst watching the sun set on one of the viewing platforms. If you feel like stretching yours or your furry friend’s legs take a walk along the beautiful dog beach.

How We Became THE GLAMPAVanS

So who are the Glampavans? We have been married for 19 years, we have adult children whom are self sufficient, and are the proud owners of a French bulldog named Baxter. We live a very busy life like most trying to juggle full time work and a social life. We love spending time with family and friends, we have a passion for food, travel, the great outdoors and are always up for a challenge. When we hit our 40’s our perception of life changed. We no longer wanted to be a slave to our work and mortgage, we wanted to live our best life, together, sooner rather than later. We purchased a caravan and started to explore a little of this country and realised there was so much more we wanted to see. We plan to hit the road in September 2021 with our fur baby for a minimum of 12 months, however, between now and then we have planned to take some shorter adventures that we will share along the way. We will free camp when we can and also support local parks and businesses along the way
